Nano brows are a soft, natural hairstroke technique created with a machine instead of a manual blade. They’re designed to enhance your existing brows with realistic strokes that heal beautifully and blend seamlessly with your natural hair.
-
Yes — I’m a certified and licensed PMU artist with advanced training in nano hairstroke techniques, color theory, and safe tattooing practices. I also invest in ongoing continuing education to stay up‑to‑date with the latest techniques, tools, and supplies so I can give my clients the best possible results. My nursing background helps me bring a steady, gentle, and safety‑minded approach to every appointment, making the experience comfortable and reassuring from start to finish.
-
I specialize in soft, natural, mature‑skin‑friendly brows. My approach is gentle, detail‑oriented, and fully customized to your features. I take my time mapping, designing, and choosing pigments so your brows heal beautifully and feel like you.
-
My nursing background plays a big role in how I approach nano brows. I spent five years in dermatology, which gave me a deep understanding of skin, healing, and how different skin types respond to procedures. I also worked ten years in orthopedics, which expanded my knowledge of medications, medical conditions, and how they relate to the nano brow process.
I’ve always been detail‑oriented, and that carries directly into my work — from cleanliness and safety to understanding healing patterns and making sure each client is cared for in a calm, informed, and safe environment.

Most people are great candidates. Nano brows are ideal if you want a natural look, have sparse areas, or want more shape and definition. During your consultation, I’ll assess your skin, brow growth, and goals to make sure the technique is the perfect fit.
-
Your appointment is relaxed, detailed, and fully customized to you. We start by reviewing your brow goals and going over any questions you may have. Then I map out your brows with careful measurements and design work, and you’ll approve the shape before anything begins. Once you’re happy with the mapping, I begin the tattooing process using soft, precise nano hairstrokes. The full appointment takes around three hours, and we finish by reviewing your post‑procedure instructions so you feel confident and prepared for healing.
-
Most clients describe the sensation as similar to plucking a hair. I do an initial pass with the tattoo machine and then apply a topical numbing solution, which eases any discomfort for the rest of the appointment. The process is very gentle — many clients feel relaxed the entire time, and some even drift off while I’m working.

You’ll receive a full prep guide before your visit, but here are the basics. Please avoid retinol, tanning, Botox or fillers, chemical peels, and laser skin treatments leading up to your appointment so your skin is calm and ready. I also ask that you come wearing your daily brow makeup — it helps me see what you’re used to and how you like your brows to look in your everyday life.
-
Yes — completely. Most clients come in with a mix of excitement and nerves, especially if it’s their first time. We take everything slowly, step by step, and you’ll always know what’s happening before we begin. Almost everyone tells me they feel much more relaxed once we start.

It’s completely normal for your brows to change a bit as they heal. The color may look slightly darker during the first few days, and then your skin will begin to grow over the top of the tattoo, which can make the brows appear lighter or as if they’re “disappearing.” This is just your skin doing its job. Over the next 4–6 weeks, the skin heals and naturally exfoliates, revealing a softer, more muted version of the brows you saw on the day of your appointment.
-
Nano brows typically last 1–3 years. Everyone’s skin holds pigment differently, so longevity depends on things like your skin type, metabolism, medical conditions, medications, skincare routine, lifestyle, sun exposure, and how well you follow aftercare. Most clients enjoy their brows for years, and a refresh down the road keeps them looking soft and defined.
-
Nano brows are intentionally designed to fade softly over time. The technique places pigment in the upper layers of the skin, where your body naturally renews and exfoliates. This keeps the brows looking soft, natural, and true to your features instead of becoming overly saturated, blurry, or harsh as the skin ages. Fading also gives us the flexibility to adjust your brows over the years as your skin, coloring, and personal style change. It’s a gentle, skin‑friendly approach that keeps your brows looking fresh and flattering long‑term.

Some medical conditions mean this procedure simply isn’t safe. Anything that weakens the immune system — such as certain illnesses, medications, blood disorders, or active cancer and cancer treatment — increases the risk of infection and affects how the skin heals. In these situations, your body isn’t in a place to recover properly, and your safety is my top priority. I can’t perform the procedure in good conscience if healing would be compromised.
There are also conditions that don’t prevent you from getting nano brows but may affect how the pigment heals — like thyroid disorders, thyroid medications, and autoimmune conditions. Many clients still get beautiful results, but pigment can heal softer or fade more quickly. We’ll talk through all of this at your consultation so expectations are clear and the procedure is safe for you.
-
No — for safety reasons, cosmetic tattooing cannot be performed during pregnancy or breastfeeding. You’re welcome to schedule a consultation and plan ahead for when you’re able to proceed.
-
Nano brows are intentionally done in two steps. At your first appointment, I work conservatively so I can see how your skin heals and how the pigment settles. Every skin type responds differently.
At your touch‑up (8–10 weeks later), we refine anything needed — color, shape, density, or size. This second session is where everything comes together and your brows reach their final look.
-
Nano brows are considered low maintenance, not no maintenance. Because everyone’s skin heals a little differently in different areas of the brow, you may find that certain spots fade softer than others. It’s completely normal to fill in a few areas if you want a more polished or makeup‑ready look, especially for going out or special occasions.
Many clients love the everyday softness nano brows give them, and still use a touch of brow product when they want extra definition. It’s very common, and totally okay.
-
Yes — nano brows can work beautifully on most skin types. Oily skin may heal softer and require more frequent refreshes, while dry or mature skin often holds pigment very well. During your consultation, I’ll assess your skin and set realistic expectations for your unique skin type.
-
If you’ve had your brows done before, I’ll need to assess your skin and the remaining pigment first. Previous work can leave behind scar tissue or residual pigment in the skin, and both of these can cause new pigment to settle differently — sometimes lighter, sometimes cooler, or sometimes not at all. Because of this, results on previously tattooed brows are less predictable than working on untouched skin. During your consultation, I’ll let you know whether correction is possible or if removal/lightening would give you the best outcome.
-
There’s very little true downtime with nano brows. Right after the procedure, the area may look a little pink, but that usually settles within a few hours. You should be able to go about your usual daily tasks right away — work, errands, normal life.
For the short healing period, you’ll want to avoid sweating, swimming, and brow makeup.
I do recommend avoiding scheduling your appointment right before a big event. Brows need time to fully heal and soften, and giving them those few weeks ensures they look their best when it matters.
-
I do not offer removal.
-
Yes — I require an in‑person consultation before booking any brow procedure. This gives me the chance to assess your skin, review the process with you, understand your brow goals, and go over how to prepare for your appointment. It’s also a time for us to make sure we’re a good fit and that expectations are realistic. My goal is always to set you up for the best possible results, and a proper consult is the first step in that process.
-
For the procedure appointment, I ask that you come alone. My studio is a small, clean, and intentionally calm space, and having just the two of us helps me keep everything safe, focused, and comfortable while I work.
For consultations, you’re absolutely welcome to bring a friend or family member if you’d like. Some clients feel better having someone with them while we talk through goals and expectations, and that’s completely okay.
-
I accept cash, check, and credit card payments. Most clients choose cash or check, which I prefer, but you’re welcome to use whichever option works best for you.
